The South Gloucestershire Community Energy Network-CIC is partnering with Bristol Energy Network through the SIFFFT (Sustainable Innovative Financial Foundations for Turbines) project to bring new community-owned renewable energy projects to South Gloucestershire. Funded by the West of England Combined Authority’s Green Recovery Fund, SIFFFT supports communities to develop and ultimately own onshore wind turbines. Built on the successful Ambition Community Energy model, this approach ensures all benefits stay within the community—not private companies. BEN and the SIFFFT delivery team guide projects from early development through construction and operation, helping local residents take ownership of the clean energy powering their future.
