We are looking to expand our team of directors – please get in touch if you are interested!
This is a great way to contribute to the community energy sector in South Gloucestershire. You can learn what is involved in running a community organisation, or bring your years of experience and knowledge! We welcome enquiries from anyone with a commitment to improving life for residents of South Gloucestershire while making a difference to the climate.
Commitment involved
- We meet once a month online at a lunchtime (currently 1pm to 2pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month). This could be changed as we develop as an organisation.
- Directors take on roles including signing off bank transactions, ensuring staff are paid, developing the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring accounts are submitted correctly to regulatory bodies, reporting our activities as a CIC
Volunteer with us
Come and join us at Energy Help Desks at stalls around South Gloucestershire – from summer fetes to community centres. We’d love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to learn more about energy, share your knowledge and enthusiasm with communities in South Gloucestershire, and get to know the area better.
